6:10 am on 27 July 2012

Despite a middle order collapse, the New Zealand cricketers ended up with a respectable first innings total of 351 on day two of their opening test against the West Indies in Antigua.

Today's highlight was a cameo from the number 10 batsman Doug Bracewell who made 39 from 31 balls while at the other end Chris Martin was left unbeaten on 4.

The home side started their first innings briskly with their big-hitting opener Chris Gayle smashing 23 off just 15 balls.
