Greg Henderson has high expectations

The New Zealand road cyclist, Greg Henderson, says he has high expectations for himself heading into tomorrow night's Olympic road race in London.

Henderson just completed three weeks of racing in the Tour de France earlier this week, and says he's expecting a similar style of racing on Saturday.

He says he and fellow New Zealand cyclist Jack Bauer have discussed race tactics and it's just a matter of implementing those on the day.

It will be New Zealand's first medal opportunity at the Games, with the official opening of the Olympics getting underway tomorrow morning.

The men's road race gets underway at 9 o'clock tomorrow night.
