Paddon all set for Rally Finland

12:15 pm on 2 August 2012

The New Zealand rally driver Hayden Paddon will be hoping to at least hold onto his lead in the Super 2000 class when he starts the Rally of Finland overnight.

The Skoda driver has a 19 point lead over his nearest rivals and he says they've had a good shakedown and the car feels good.

He says the plan will be to push right from stage 1.

Paddon will drive a different Skoda Fabia S2000 rally car to the one he used to win the class at the Rally of New Zealand in June, because they've joined a new team.

Frenchman Sebastien Loeb in a Citroen leads the WRC standings from teammate Mikko Hirvonen of Finland.
