The Chiefs coach Dave Rennie breathed a sigh of relief this evening after captain Craig Clarke was cleared to play in Saturday's Super Rugby final against the Sharks in Hamilton.
The lock came through a fitness test on his injured knee unscathed and will take part in the side's captains run tomorrow.
Rennie has stuck with the same side that beat the Crusaders in last week's semi-final and he's more than happy his talismanic captain will lead the troops out onto a sold out Waikato Stadium.
