More chances for medals tonight

New Zealand Rowing could add to their impressive medal haul tonight on their final day of competition at the London Olympics.

Former world champions Storm Uru and Peter Taylor are medal contenders in the lightweight double sculls, while Emma Twigg is a chance in the single sculls after winning bronze medals at the last 2 world championships.

World triathlon number one Andrea Hewitt should fight it out for the medals in the womens race with strong backup from Nicky Samuels and Kate McIlroy.

In the cycling veledrome NZers are in the omnium, mens sprint and womens team pursuit.

The womens hockey team play the United States needing a win to remain in semi-final contention.

At the main stadium, Jamaican Usain Bolt has his first outing on the track in the first round of the hundred metres and American Michael Phelps has a chance for his 18th Olympic gold medal in the medley relay on the last day of swimming action
