Carlos Tuimavave will make his first start for the Warriors in their National Rugby League match against Penrith at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday.
Tuimavave has been given the job of replacing the injured Kevin Locke at fullback.
Locke lasted only 16 minutes of Saturday night's match against North Queensland before being forced off with an ankle injury.
Scans have shown Locke has a high ankle sprain and will miss the three remaining games this season.
Tuimavave, who's 20, has played only two previous NRL games coming on as a replacement against Cronulla and North Queensland.
