The former Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken will return to top level coaching, taking over at the helm of the Northern Mystics in next year's trans-tasman netball competition.
Debbie Fuller confirmed she'd be stepping down from her current role to spend more time with her young family.
Fuller, who took the Mystics to the play-offs the last 2 years, plans to remain as a specialist defensive coach.
Aitken will be taking leave from her coaching director role at Netball New Zealand next year, and in the meantime will commence the player contracting process.
She says she's excited that this opportunity has become available - coaching a franchise is a new challenge and one that she's really looking forward to.
