Liverpool has beaten the Scottish football side Hearts 1-0 in their Europa league clash in Edinburgh.
Hearts dominated at Tynecastle Park as Liverpool's strikers proved toothless, especially Fabio Borini - but the Italian got lucky in the 78th minute, Borini helping spark an own goal to Hearts' Andy Webster that puts the Reds in the box seat to progress from the play-off round into the group stages.
Liverpool lost their opening Premier League game by an embarrassing 3-0 scoreline at West Bromwich Albion on the weekend.
