Olympic bronze medallist Mark Todd is down to one ride at this weekend's Burghley horse trials in England, with the withdrawal of his horse Grass Valley.
Todd, a multiple past winner at Burghley, last claimed the title back in 1999 and will partner Major Milestone when the event starts this weekend.
The other New Zealanders taking part are Andrew NIcholson, Caroline Powell, Lucy Jackson, and Jonathan Paget.
Burghley is regarded as one of the biggest three-day events alongside Badminton.
