Pumas cancel training

2:06 pm on 3 September 2012

The Argentina rugby team decided to cancel training today following an exhaustive journey to get here for this weekend's Rugby Championship match against the All Blacks in Wellington.

The Pumas have travelled to South Africa and home again for their matches against South Africa and have now turned around again to play in New Zealand.

There were delays to their travel plans and it took them 24 hours to get here, and lock Patricio Albacete says while they're tired, it won't take long to recover.

Albacete says they're excited to be taking on the All Blacks in this new competition and he admits they'll have to improve on their performance last weekend when they drew with the Springboks.
