The New Zealand netball coach Wai Taumaunu says the Silver Ferns will adopt the Northern Mystics' lineout lifting technique in the upcoming Constellation Cup series against Australia.
The move was first seen near the end of the trans-Tasman championship earlier this year and proved and effective defence against the opposition shooters.
Many wondered whether the novel technique would soon wear off, but it's clear Taumaunu's keen to add it to the Silver Ferns arsenal for the three-test series against the Diamonds.
The Silver Ferns are training in Auckland this week before flying to Australia next Thursday ahead of the first match in Melbourne.
