The Canterbury swimmer Sophie Pascoe has surpassed her medal haul from the Beijing Paralympics with her sixth and final medal of the London Games - a silver in the 100 metres SB9 breast stroke.

Pascoe was second to Ukraine's Khrystyna Yurchenko in an Oceania record to finish her campaign with three golds and three silvers - one medal more than her five-medal haul in Beijing four years ago.

The 19-year-old won the 100 metres freestyle, 100 metres butterfly and the 200 metres individual medley, with silvers in the 50 metres freestyle, 100 metres breast stroke and the 50 metres backstroke.
