The Australian cricketers lost the second match of their Twenty20 series against Pakistan in a one-over eliminator after a tie in regular time.
Australia made 151 for eight in reply to Pakistan's 151 for four, with tailender Pat Cummins hitting a six from the second-last ball to tie the scores then losing his wicket from the final delivery.
Australia set Pakistan a target of 11 runs in the super over, which was achieved after Cummins bowled a wide on the final ball ove the over.
The final match is on Monday night in Dubai.
