Tasman were too strong for Manawatu in their provincial ITM Cup rugby clash in Palmerston North on Sunday,
while Northland fought back to inflict yet another defeat on North Harbour.
Tasman soaked up considerable pressure but struck back with four tries to none as they beat Manawatu 27-3.
Meanwhile Northland first five Ash Moeke put in a stirling performance with the boot in the second half to help his side come back from a 17-6 deficit to beat North Harbour 18-17.
It's a fourth consecutive defeat for North Harbour.
