Defending champ expects a close contest

Defending champion Novak Djokovic faces the Olympic champion Andy Murray in the men's singles final which has taken the US Open into a thirdx week for the fifth straight year because of rain delays over the weekend.

Djokovic, who hasn't been beaten in a grand slam match on hardcourts for two years is bidding for his 6th major title, while Murray is still seeking his first, but the Serb expects another tight match.
