Joseph pleased with culture the Highlanders are building

The Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph wanted to build a culture and environment the other Super Rugby franchises would envy and it appears he's done just that after luring the All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock to the deep south.

The Highlanders now have more All Blacks on their books than they have in some time and with prop Ben Franks also linked with a move to the franchise they could end up with one of the most intimidating front row's in the competition.

Joseph says it's pleasing that the Highlaners are now an attractive option for New Zealand's best players.

However new Blues coach Sir John Kirwan has said he is now interested in getting Ben Franks to the Blues.
