Black Caps come back to beat India

The New Zealand cricketers are celebrating a Twenty20 series victory over India after a one-run win in Chennai.

Sent in to bat first, the Black Caps lost both openers Rob Nichol and Martin Guptill with only 2 runs on the board.

But Brendon McCullum put together a calculated 91 from 55 balls to anchor the innings which ended at 167 for 5.

Late in the run chase the home side looked set for victory, but tight bowling at the death from James Franklin and Jacob Oram left the home side one run short of the Black Caps total.

New Zealand won the two-match series 1-0 as the opening game was washed out.
