The New Zealand Breakers basketball coach Andrej Lemanis says talk of creating a dynasty is premature but it is one of the club's loftier goals.
The two-time defending ANBL champions are in Melbourne for their final pre-season tournament and will have to play without star forward Tom Abercrombie, whose recovery from off-season ankle surgery is taking longer than expected.
Lemanis says winning a third consecutive title is the Breakers' top priority but he says whether or not that would constitute a dynasty isn't for the club to decide.
Lemanis says he isn't concerned with results in Melbourne as long as the Breakers continue to improve.
