Jessica Springsteen, the 20-year-old daughter of the American rock music legend Bruce, has bought the London Olympic champion showjumper champion Murka's Vindicat.
The Dutch-bred horse was ridden by Peter Charles in a faultless final round which sealed Great Britain's Olympic showjumping gold medal last month.
While the price was not revealed, top class showjumpers have been changing hands lately for as much as six million euros.
Jessica Springsteen has inherited her mother's love of horse riding, and she made the American Olympic team long list.
