Brit to take over dircetion of High Performance Triatlon in NZ

5:55 am on 24 September 2012

The former High Performance Director of British Triathlon, Graeme Maw, will take over the same position in New Zealand.

Maw's appointment is the first significant step in the implementation of the recommendations of the recent Independent Review into the Triathlon New Zealand High Performance Programme.

Tri NZ Chief Executive Craig Waugh says the quality of applicants was superb, a reflection of the high regard in which Triathlon New Zealand and our athletes are held worldwide.

However Waugh says Maw stood out in the Global search and was their preferred choice and they're delighted to have secured his services.

Maw will arrive in New Zealand in November and commence his new role in December.
