The champion Croatian football club Dinamo Zagreb have fined their 23-year-old defender Domagoj Vida 100,000 euros for opening a can of beer on the team bus on the way to a national cup match.

Vida was immediately kicked off the team bus by his coach and was left on the streets of Zagreb as his teammates continued on to their match venue hundreds of kilometres away.

Only last month, Dinamo's Brazilian-born midfielder Sammir was fined 270,000 euros for partying in a Zagreb night club on the eve of a Champions League qualifying match.
