Counties Manukau's excellent provincial season has promoted the versatile back Bundee Aki into the Chiefs Super Rugby squad.
Counties meet Auckland in a top of the table interdivisional clash tomorrow night at Eden Park and the Chiefs have noticed the form of their wider training squad member, promoting Aki onto a one-year contract.
The 22-year-old is thought to be a straight swap for midfielder Jackson Willison.
