The New Zealand golf No.1 Danny Lee is in danger of losing his PGA Tour card.

Lee is 169th on the PGA Tour money list and needs to climb inside the top 125 players over the next three events of the Fall Series to keep his status on the elite Tour.

The 21-year-old Rotorua professional missed the cut by one shot at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open with rounds of 70 and 69.

Lee has made the cut in 11 out of 22 events on the PGA Tour in 2012 with his best result a tie for 19th at the Byron Nelson Championship in May.
