Anil Kumble and Andrew Strauss appointed to ICC roles

The International Cricket Council Board has appointed former India captain Anil Kumble as the new chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee.

Kumble took 619 test and 337 one day internatonal wickets and takes over from former West Indies captain Clive Lloyd in the job.

Meanwhile, Ian Bishop, who represents former players, will be replaced by the recently-retired former England captain Andrew Strauss.
