The Wallabies' captain Nathan Sharpe has again shelved retirement plans and will play for Australia on their upcoming European tour.

The Wallabies had major injury problems in the latter stages of the Rugby Championship and Sharpe has answered a call from coach Robbie Deans to extend his career once again.

The 34-year-old led the Wallabies recently in their home and away wins against Argentina, and coach Deans says Sharpe's now crucial to the Wallabies cause.
