Fiji have made a brilliant start to the international rugby sevens series, blowing away their traditional rivals New Zealand 32-14 on the Gold Coast.
The defending champions, smarting from their round robin loss to Australia, scored 6 tries to 2 in the final against a New Zealand team that included several newcomers, although captain DJ Forbes says they performed well below their usual standard.
The second round in Dubai isn't until the 30th of November.
