The New Zealand golfer Danny Lee could well benefit from an early tee time on the opening day of the PGA tour's McGladrey Classic in Georgia.
Lee tees off at 9.15 local time in the second to last event of the regular season, needing strong finishes over the next two weeks to retain playing rights on the main tour next year.
He's 167th on the money list, needing to improve 42 places to be fully exempt on the world's richest golf tour in 2013.
