As CA announced it had officially sacked confessed drug-taker Matt White from his job with the elite men's road squad, the national body has publicly criticised the International Cycling Union's tardy response to the US Anti-Doping Agency's evidence against Lance Armstrong.
Cycling Australia's board has publicly stated that the UCI, until recent times, failed to fully and properly do its part to stamp out doping, and how it addresses the allegations within it will be critical to the reputation of the organisation, and the sport in general.
