Finland's Mikko Hirvonen has finally won the Rally of Italy in Sardinia, the Citroën driver's first victory of the season after finishing runner-up on five occasions.
Hirvonen took the title by more than a minute after his countryman and team-mate, the champion Sébastien Loeb, crashed out early on.
Evgeny Novikov claimed second with another Ford driver, Ott Tänak, taking his first-ever WRC podium in third.
Skoda's Sébastien Ogier was fifth and Ford's Petter Solberg ninth.
