11:43 am on 26 October 2012

The Silver Ferns came from behind to beat England 57-46 in their Quad Series netball match in Wellington.

The home side got off to a slow start and conceded too many turnovers to trail 26-24 at half-time before coach Wai Taumaunu rang the changes.

Off went Katrina Grant, Anna Harrison, Jodi Brown and Cathrine Latu replaced, respectively, by Leana de Bruin, Kayla Cullen, Maria Tutaia and Irene van Dyk.

In the second half the New Zealanders were able to pick up more ball on defence and showed a bit more class on attack.

In the other match Australia remain unbeaten after scoring a 68-36 victory over South Africa.

The Silver Ferns next play South Africa in the fifth leg of the series in Tauranga on Sunday, while Australia play England.
