Sixers reach Champions League T20 final

The Sydney Sixers overcame patches of panic in both innings on Saturday morning to advance to the Champions League T20 cricket final with a last-ball two-wicket win over the Titans at Centurion in South Africa.

The Sixers will play the other South African side, the Lions, in Johannesburg early on Monday, having already beaten them by five wickets in a group game in Durban.

Playing at home, the Titans recovered from 82 for five in the 14th over and blasted 72 runs in the last four to reach five for 163.

When Sydney batted, they raced to 85 for one in the ninth over, but crashed to 132 for six after 16, following two needless runouts and some poor strokes.

They needed eight off the last over and somehow managed to get there despite not scoring a run off the bat from the last three balls.
