The Silver Ferns have beaten South Africa 63-24 in their penultimate match of netball's Quad Series in Tauranga.
For a change the Ferns coach Wai Taumaunu decided to start with her strongest lineup, including shooter Irene van Dyk who got her first start of the series, while captain Casey Williams impressed at the other end as she continues her return from injury.
The homeside led 18-5 after the first quarter, 31-10 at half time and 47-15 at three-quarter time.
Taumaunu made changes throughout the game and got all 12 players on court with shooter Catherine Latu finishing with a perfect 27 from 27.
The result provides a confidence-booster ahead of the rematch against Australia in the four-nation finale in Hamilton on Thursday following the disappointing 20-goal loss to their old rivals during the Australian segment of the series.
Australia beat England 57-35 in the night's other match.
