Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has increased his lead over Fernando Alonso in the world drivers championship to 13 points with three races remaining after the pair finished first and second at the Indian Grand Prix.

The 25-year-old German led all the way from pole position to make it four straight wins, and his surge towards a third title in a row is starting to look unstoppable.

Vettel's team-mate Mark Webber was third after fending off a strong late challenge from Lewis Hamilton, and Jenson Button was fifth.

The highlight of Hamilton's race was a rare five-wheel change pitstop, with his mechanics replacing his steering wheel as well as all four tyres in just over three seconds.
