Petiersen set for England return in Mumbai

Kevin Pietersen's exile from the England cricket team has ended - he's played against India A in a three-day match in Mumbai, the opening game of a major tour.

The flamboyant South African-born batsman was dropped for the third and final test against South Africa at Lord's in August after he admitted sending provocative texts to the opposition.

Pietersen was added to the touring party earlier this month following meetings with coach Andy Flower, captain Alastair Cook and other senior players, and members of the management team.

England's tour includes a four-test series which starts on the 15th of November.
