The former All Black Nick Evans has signed a new three-year deal with the English Premiership champions Harlequins, ending speculation about his future.

The 32-year-old Evans had been linked with lucrative moves to French and Japanese clubs but he'll be staying at The Stoop until at least 2016, having arrived there from Otago four years ago.

The gifted utility back has scored nearly 1,200 points for Harlequins and he was named the Rugby Players Associations player of the season last term.
