National Rugby League clubs will each receive an immediate $2.5 million thanks to the $1.26 billion broadcast deal signed earlier this year.
The league has announced that all 16 clubs will potentially have a funding package of nearly 9-million dollars to help balance the sheets in 2013.
Most notably, the base grant provided to all clubs has risen dramatically from $4.85 million to just under $7.4 million for next year.
