The Taranaki midfielder Jayden Hayward is to join Perth-based Super Rugby franchise the Western Force.
Hayward played for the Hurricanes in 2011 and this year and still had another year to run on his contract but sought an early release from the New Zealand rugby union as he wanted to more game time.
Hayward will join former All Blacks halfback Alby Matthewson at the franchise for 2013.
