Coe elected BOA chairman

Sebastian Coe has been elected has been formally elected as chairman of the British Olympic Association.

The double Olympic 1,500 metres champion, who was the frontman for the London Olympics, stood unopposed after British hockey's chief Richard Leman stepped aside last month, and he'll serve a four-year term.

Lord Coe says he's committed to making sure the benefits of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games are maximised, and the role gives him an excellent platform to continue to serve and promote British Olympic sport both in the UK and globally.
