The New Zealand junior men's hockey team has been beaten 3-1 by India in their latest match at the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia.
The Junior Black Sticks now have one win, a draw and two losses and are out of contention for the final.
The win qualified India for the final.
The juniors' last round robin match is against Australia.
