The former All Blacks fullback Bob Scott has died at the age of 91.

Scott was a prominent member of the Kiwi army rugby team which toured Britain at the end of the war and made his All Black test debut in New Zealand's first post war test series, against Australia in 1946.

He went on to play 17 tests between 1946 and 1954.

Bob Scott was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame in 1990 and in 1995 was awarded the MBE for his services to sport.
