The New Zealand Breakers picked up their seventh straight National Basketball League win, by belting the Townsville Crocodiles 93-63 at Auckland's Vector Arena last night.

The defending champions' offensive struggles disappeared as they registered their highest score of the season, shooting 48 per cent from the floor and sinking 12 three point field goals.

The Breakers found their offensive rhythm with Cedric Jackson and Tom Abercrombie combining for some attractive plays to give them a 50-29 halftime lead.

The Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis says the team is just starting to understand how to play as a unit.

Big man Alex Pledger top-scored with a career-high equalling 18 points to go with seven boards, earning high praise from his coach.
