The New Zealand cricketers will be licking their wounds after a crushing 10-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in the opening test of their series in Galle.
Trailing by just 26 runs on the first innings, the Black Caps crashed to 118 all out in their second innings as left armer Rangana Herath exposed their inability to cope with spin, taking 6 wickets for 43 off 18 overs.
New Zealand lost their last 9 wickets for 83 runs, and they've now lost their last five tests.
But they have a couple of extra days now to get things right for the second and final test starting in Colombo on Sunday.
