Auckland City's opponents at football's Club World Cup in Japan have been determined after Sanfrecce Hiroshima captured their first J-League title.

Hiroshima's 4-1 home win over Cerezo Osaka not only earned the hosts the Japanese championship, but they will now represent the host nation at December's tournament.

The tie against City on December the 6th in Yokohama will determine who makes the main stage at FIFA's elite club competition, which also features Al-Ahly, Chelsea, Corinthians, Monterrey and Ulsan Hyundai.
