The Olympic bronze medallist Juliette Haigh has decided to retire from rowing, after more than 15 years in the sport and nine years representing New Zealand at World Championships and Olympic Games.

The 30-year-old, who won bronze in the women's pair in London with Rebecca Scown, says while she still has a great love for rowing, she no longer feels she can commit to a fourth Olympic campaign.
