The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says while Sunday's loss to England took the polish off the year, 2012 was mostly memorable.
England spoilt what would have been an unbeaten year for the All Blacks after 12 wins and one draw but Hansen is overall happy with how the team has performed.
He says the coaching group has come together well, the rookies have proved they can play at the international level, and the senior players have been recharged.
Hansen says if someone had told him at the start of the season that they'd go through the season with just one loss he'd be very happy.
