Olympic sailing pair to stay together

New Zealand's Olympic champion sailors Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie are to stay together for the defence of their 470 title at Rio 2016.

The pair won gold at the London Games this year and after much discussion have decided to carry on.

Aleh says they felt winning gold in London was never going to be the end and they still have targets including winning a first world title in the 470 class.

She says they wanted to make sure they would do it properly, but feel they still have the same passion and drive.

Aleh says they did consider changing to the new women's 49er class, but decided that would put them back too far with so much to learn.

She says since winning gold, their profile has risen and they are getting more financial support
