The former international batsman and national captain Martin Crowe has launched a scathing attack on New Zealand Cricket management and their handling of Ross Taylor's sacking as Black Caps captain.

In column on the website Cricinfo, Crowe who is Taylor's batting coach, says the sport's national body is worthless and that over the past week it's destroyed the soul of the country's best player.

Crowe was strongly critical of the leadership of chief executive David White, New Zealand Cricket's chairman Chris Moller and Black Caps coach Mike Hesson.
