For the first time in 19 seasons the Warriors will play a designated home game outside of Auckland, with Wellington's Westpac Stadium to host the side's National Rugby League match ninth round match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
While the Warriors took designated home games to Eden Park in 2011 and 2012 chief executive Wayne Scurrah says the match on May 11th will be the first time in 221 games the club will play a home game outside Auckland.
