The Otago Volts have handed the Northern Knights their first loss of the HRV Cup Twenty20 cricket competition.
Otago won the match by 11 runs in Hamilton.
Otago scored 173 for seven then restricted Northern to 162 for eight.
Northern remain top of the standings with Otago now fourth with their first win.
