Lee invited to join Cricket NSW sub-committee

After being exonerated over controversial comments calling for the axing of Cricket New South Wales chief executive David Gilbert, former test paceman Brett Lee still believes the game is being poorly run in the state.

A three-hour Cricket Australia code of conduct hearing led to all charges of unbecoming behaviour and detrimental public comment against Lee being dropped.

Lee will get a chance to have a direct impact on its future after being invited by Cricket NSW to join a sub-committee of its board to address the direction of cricket in the state.

Lee says after 17 years of international and first-class cricket, hopefully he can pass on some knowledge.
